The Cottages
You have five cottages to chose from: four of them are right by the beach, the fifth in the heart of historical Sintra. A tough choice!
Three of the houses at Praia das Maçãs have been in the family for over 50 years, having been bought new by Ana's grandfather and have undergone extensive renovation work which was finished in Spring 2005.
The Sintra cottage, Casa do Limoeiro, was a new addition in the summer season of 2007.
The beach cottages are surrounded by welcoming traditional private courtyards with flower beds and grape vines, the ideal spot for sunbathing and a great space for barbeques! If you wish to rent more than one property, you can easily access all of them.
You get sea views from the door porch and it’s only a short stroll to the beach. Look towards the mountains from the front yard and you can admire the view of the hilltops.
Early in 2006 we acquired a cottage in the heart of the historical part of Sintra - a rare finding since these houses usually get passed down generations and are very rarely sold.
So now you've got the choice between two exquisite holiday locations: right by a top quality fine sandy beach or up in one of the most charismatic towns in the whole of Europe – Sintra!
